Well, now as leaders, we have the opportunity to create that feeling for our proteges. Let's get to know our employees. Talk to them, not at them. Shake their hand, address them by name. Ask how they're doing, do they have any concerns? The bottom line is, without the people in the field, the job won't get done. They deserve our attention.
