Quiet Please Crane Operator At Work
The most important job on a construction site is the crane operator. Operators are responsible for lifting heavy and odd picks safely into place, they plan the logistics, pick points and communication between the operator and riggers to ensure safety. It might look like an easy job but think about it for a minute, operators are stuck in a cab all day dealing with everyone calling at the same time to get a pick (of course they’re all top priority) they deal with picks that aren’t ready, incomprehensible communication, ego’s and poor planning. If your job relies on good communication and proper planning two things you rarely find on construction sites than yes an operators job can be very taxing at times. So let’s help operators out by properly planning work and clearly communicating the schedule, priorities and signals. Also let’s not forget the most important info a crane operator needs start, stop, extended or weekend shift. We should do a better job showing appreciation for what they do because without them these amazing structures we build would not be possible.
So to all the amazing crane operators’ thank you!!! For everything you do.
Being a crane operator is the most rewarding job one could have
A special thanks to all the crane operators out there! Non of this would be possible without you.
