A couple of weeks ago we built the structure, today we are adding exterior componets to the west face with SketchUp.
Here is an example from the last post on taking a drawing, quickly sketching up and the execution. Just 20 minutes of Sketching can go along way when it comes to visualizing the final product when your in the field.
We have all been there, where our boss hands us a chicken scratched paper of an addition to your work-scope that was designed in five minutes. Take for instance an architectural sign wall that was just added and has to be done now, so you have only a small amount of time to plan and execute the work. Well you’re in luck! The beauty of SketchUp is, within minutes you can create a 3d drawing. This creation and visualization of the task using SketchUp will help simplify your building process because you have already built it and connected all the pieces before ever starting the actual work, and the best part; It can be done within minutes.
